Pairing(s): KyuMi, HaeMi, HaeKyuMi and SiHan at the end.
Summary: Siwon is confused at just how Zhou Mi can pull off dating two people at the same time and not get caught. Han Geng tries to help him understand.
Notes: This became something else entirely than what I originally planned, but it's still awesome. So...enjoy?
“So let me get this straight… Your roommate is dating two people?” Siwon asked as he glanced over at Han Geng.
“That’s right,” Han Geng replied, shrugging a little.
“At the same time?”
“Do they both know about the other person?”
“No. And that’s the beauty of it. Or so Zhou Mi tells me.”
“On Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays he dates the boy who lives in the apartment on our left. On Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays he dates the boy who lives in the apartment on our right.”
“But what about Sundays?”
“Those are what he calls his ‘me’ days. Where he reflects on the fact that he once again hasn’t been caught. It’s ridiculous, but that’s Zhou Mi.”
“They really haven’t found out yet?”
“Really,” Han Geng sighed and then flipped a page in the book he was reading.
“How is that even possible when they live so close?”
“Zhou Mi has been very careful, that’s all.”
“One of these days he’ll be caught.” Siwon stated as he sat down next to Han Geng on the small couch.
“I know it and he knows it, but for now he’s enjoying himself. And he tells me that’s all that matters.”
Siwon covered his eyes as he stumbled out of the living room and headed for Han Geng’s bedroom. He had really not wanted to see Zhou Mi (who he hadn’t even properly met yet) making out with someone. Especially when he’d only come into the living room to grab the book Han Geng had forgotten in there earlier.
He walked into Han Geng’s room and closed the door behind him, “Does your roommate always molest his boyfriends in the living room?”
“Yes,” Han Geng responded as he took his book from Siwon. “He says that it’s too much effort to make it all the way to the bedroom.”
“Ah,” Siwon said in reply, “So which boy is he with tonight?”
“What day is it?”
“Then it would be the boy who lives on our left,” Han Geng stated as he opened his book to the page he’d last read.
“And his name is?”
“Cho Kyuhyun, according to his door’s nameplate,” Han Geng responded nonchalantly as he flipped another page in his book.
Siwon nodded and then lay down on the bed with his head resting on Han Geng’s stomach. He was pretty much very confused as to how Zhou Mi could get away with dating two separate people and not be caught. If it was Siwon who was doing such a thing he would have been caught long ago. Not because he was bad at hiding things, it was just that he was bad at lying to others.
If he’d been in Zhou Mi’s situation and one of the two people he was dating had asked him if he was seeing someone else, he wouldn’t be able to lie and say no. He’d be like a fountain spewing forth word vomit about how he was a cheater and…it just wouldn’t turn out well.
This was why he was very glad that he only liked one person right now. And that said person was currently in the same room with him. Not that Han Geng was aware of this and just assumed that Siwon’s openness around him was only because of ‘skinship’. One of these days though he would eventually tell Han Geng that he liked him. Especially since Heechul was constantly telling him to ‘grow some balls and tell him already before he falls for his roommate’.
Just as Siwon was getting lost in his own thoughts again, he heard the door to Han Geng’s room creak open. He glanced over at the door and saw Zhou Mi standing in the doorway. He rolled off Han Geng’s stomach and just stared up at the ceiling. He heard Zhou Mi chuckle a little followed by a ‘may I help you with something?’ from Han Geng.
“I need a couple condoms,” Zhou Mi said and scratched the back of his head.
“How do you not have any left?” Han Geng asked as he stared over at his roommate.
“I used them up last night. You know how quick I go through them. Especially when I’m with Donghai…” Zhou Mi trailed off and smiled sheepishly.
Han Geng sighed and pulled open the top drawer of his bedside table. He took out a row of condoms and threw them at Zhou Mi. “Now stay out of my room for the rest of the night, okay?”
“You got it!” Zhou Mi grinned from ear to ear and then made to leave the room, “Oh and thanks for these.” He held up the condoms and chuckled once more before leaving the room and closing the door behind him.
“…Donghai’s the other boyfriend, right?” Siwon asked, glancing over at Han Geng.
“Yes,” Han Geng answered as he stared down at Siwon, “why do you ask?”
“Just making sure he’s not dating three people or something.”
Han Geng laughed and moved so that he was lying next to Siwon. “No, not even Zhou Mi could pull that one off. He’d slip up for sure if he was dating more than two people.”
Zhou Mi grinned and threw the row of condoms at Kyuhyun before climbing back on top of him on the couch.
“Your roommate actually had some? Isn’t he a virgin?” Kyuhyun asked as he ran his fingers along the row of condoms.
“No, he’s just isn’t dating anyone.” Zhou Mi replied before leaning down to kiss Kyuhyun softly, “Although he should really just admit that he likes that guy who’s always here.”
“You haven’t even properly met that guy, right?”
“Well…no, but he’s always here. That must mean something.”
“He’s probably just your roommate’s best friend or something. Not everyone is gay.” Kyuhyun stated before he began to nip at Zhou Mi’s bottom lip.
“…Oh yeah, that’s probably what it is.” Zhou Mi chuckled a little.
“Of course that’s all it is,” Kyuhyun replied and rolled his eyes, “now shut up and get on with it already, would you?”
“Aye aye Captain!” Zhou Mi saluted and then kissed along Kyuhyun’s jaw line, down his neck and then down his chest as he unbuttoned the younger male’s shirt, leaving a kiss in place of every button that was undone.
Siwon yawned and buried his head into Han Geng’s shoulder. He really wished Han Geng would have agreed to stay the night at his house instead of in the small apartment that Han Geng shared with Zhou Mi, but as it was easier for the two of them to get to their University from Han Geng’s apartment going to Siwon’s house for the night had pretty much been out of the question.
He stretched his arms above his head and yawned once more.
“Are you tired?” Han Geng asked, laughing a little as he marked his page in his book and then set it aside.
“A little,” Siwon replied and smiled a tired smile in Han Geng’s direction, “You think they’ll be finished any time soon?”
“Zhou Mi and Kyuhyun?” Han Geng questioned and then watched Siwon nod his answer, “No…probably not for a few more hours. When they get started they hardly ever stop. They may spend three days of the week together, but Wednesday is usually the night they actually have the time to have sex so it lasts for quite awhile.”
“Oh,” Siwon said slowly before he yawned again, “how do you sleep?”
“I put music on…” Han Geng trailed off as he realized that he had yet to put the music on and crawled off the bed to turn his CD player on.
Siwon watched as Han Geng walked back across the room and settled down in the bed again. But just as the older boy pulled the blankets up over the two of them and made to settle into the bed to sleep, a loud (and very angry) shriek was heard from the living room. Han Geng was used to hearing noises come from that direction, but that was definitely one noise he’d yet to hear.
Within seconds he had thrown off the blanket and was heading down the hall to where the noise had come from. He stopped in the doorway to the living room and held out his arm to stop Siwon from going any further.
“What’s going on?” Siwon asked as he came to a halt behind Han Geng.
“I’m not sure.” Han Geng replied and waited to see if anything else would happen.
Zhou Mi lifted his head from Kyuhyun’s stomach and glanced over his shoulder. He was sure he’d heard an angry shriek from behind him, he just didn’t know who or what had made the noise. He turned around fully and swallowed a few times before chuckling awkwardly.
“…Donghai,” He said quietly and got to his feet, “What are you doing here?”
“I heard some weird noises coming from your apartment and figured I’d come over to check things out.”
“Oh, did you?”
“Yes,” Donghae replied and then pointed to Kyuhyun, “who’s that?”
Zhou Mi cleared his throat and looked from Kyuhyun to Donghae and then back again, “My cousin.”
“Yep,” Zhou Mi replied at the same time that Kyuhyun shouted an annoyed “excuse me?!” from behind him.
Zhou Mi held up his hands in mock defeat and chuckled a little, “…Did I say cousin? I meant…um… roommate.”
“I’ve met your roommate before, that’s not him.”
“I have a second roommate now, yeah…”
Kyuhyun got up from the couch and slid his arms around Zhou Mi from behind, “Last I checked I wasn’t living here. But if you’d like to me to move in…I suppose I could.”
Zhou Mi pulled away from Kyuhyun and once again looked from one boy to the other. “I’d love it if you both could live here but --”
“Why would you want him to live here?” Kyuhyun asked and then nodded his head in Donghae’s direction.
“Because I’m his boyfriend,” Donghae answered with a smile on his face.
“No you’re not,” Kyuhyun stated and then looked up at Zhou Mi, “Tell him he’s not.”
Zhou Mi tried to sneak out of the room and just leave the other two to figure it out on their own, but as he neared the doorway to the hall he was stopped when he spotted Han Geng and Siwon standing there. Well, he definitely wasn’t getting out that way. And the door to the apartment was blocked by Donghae so he wasn’t getting out that way either.
He thought he’d been so smart and would be able to carry on with dating the both of them without either of them finding out. But apparently this was not the case since he’d forgotten to take into consideration the fact that he was dating two people who lived a stone’s throw away from each other. He really should have dated that boy from the building across the street instead. It might have taken longer for him to be found out that way.
“Wait a minute…have you been dating both of us?” Donghae asked.
“Obviously,” Kyuhyun said in an undertone as he rolled his eyes.
Zhou Mi bit his bottom lip and turned back to the two boys in the living room, “Yes.”
“Why?” Donghae questioned, tilting his head to the side.
“Because he thought he could get away with it,” Kyuhyun responded, “But he didn’t think about the fact that we’re not idiots. …Well, at least I’m not.”
“Hey! Neither am I!”
Kyuhyun smirked and laughed a little, “Are you sure about that?”
“No!” Donghae shouted and then caught himself, “Yes! I’m very sure I’m not an idiot.”
“Right… Of course you’re not.”
“Uh huh,” Kyuhyun rolled his eyes again and then glanced over at Zhou Mi, “Could you break up with him already so he’ll leave?”
“Why does he have to break up with me? Why can’t he break up with you?”
“Because I don’t plan on going anywhere, so it obviously means he has to break up with you.”
“…What if I don’t want to break up with anyone?” Zhou Mi asked.
“You can’t date the both of us.”
“I already was! And it was going just fine.”
“...That’s beside the point,” Kyuhyun stated, “I don’t want you to be dating someone else when you’re dating me.”
“Then maybe I’ll just break up with the both of you.”
“But that’s not fair!” Donghae protested, “I never agreed to any of this.”
“Well…maybe we could come to some sort of compromise.” Kyuhyun said as he tapped his chin thoughtfully.
“What sort of compromise?” Donghae asked, blinking a few times.
“We both continue to date him.”
“But you just said you didn’t want me dating anyone else…didn’t you?” Zhou Mi asked, tilting his head to the side.
“Of course I did. But you didn’t let me finish,” Kyuhyun smirked and stalked over to Donghae, slinging his arm around the other boy’s shoulders.
“Kuixian… Are you suggesting what I think you’re suggesting?”
“What do you think I’m suggesting?” Kyuhyun asked as he glanced over at Zhou Mi.
“…I think I know!” Donghae all but shouted, grinning from ear to ear.
“Well, what is it?” Kyuhyun chuckled and his smirk grew wider.
“You want him to date you while he dates me while I date you while you date me…right?”
Kyuhyun chuckled and turned Donghae around in his arms before kissing him softly on the lips, “Bingo.”
“A threesome?” Siwon whispered, glancing over at Han Geng from where they still stood in the doorway.
“Apparently so,” Han Geng replied and then laughed a little, “I guess that solves things.”
“…” Siwon wasn’t quite sure how to respond. Hadn’t Kyuhyun just been asking Zhou Mi to kick Donghae out? He shook his head a little and then poked Han Geng in the shoulder. “Hyung…”
“Hmm?” Han Geng glanced at Siwon, raising an eyebrow.
“I like you.”
“I like you too, Siwon.”
“No…I mean… I like you.”
“That’s what I meant too.” Han Geng chuckled and grabbed Siwon’s hand before slowly leading him back into his bedroom and closing (locking? Siwon was almost sure he’d heard a locking sound) behind them.
Maybe when the morning rolled around Siwon would be able to properly meet Zhou Mi, but for now all he was concerned about was making sure that Han Geng knew just how much he liked him.
