"...I just don't know what I'm doing wrong." Eunhyuk said with an over-dramatic sigh as he flopped down on Donghae's bed next to the younger male.
"Well... have you actually told him that you like him?" Donghae asked, his head tilted to the side as he looked at Eunhyuk.
"Of course I haven't."
"Then there's your problem." Donghae replied with a grin, poking Eunhyuk in the cheek.
"But he kissed me, Donghae." Eunhyuk started, "Like... actually kissed me... with tongue."
"And then he ran away, didn't he?" Donghae asked, an eyebrow raised.
"Yeah," Eunhyuk answered, sighing yet again, "And he hasn't slept in our dorm for almost a week now."
"Do you have any idea where he's staying?"
Eunhyuk shook his head, "No. He wouldn't tell me. I tried to corner him after class the other day and he just ignored me."
"Maybe he's just confused, Hyukjae." Donghae said with a sad smile, "I was confused at first after Kibum kissed me for the first time. I didn't speak to him for three months because I was so scared, remember?"
"...Yeah." Eunhyuk replied, nodding his head. "I just wish he'd at least acknowledge my presence, you know?"
"I know," Donghae said, patting Eunhyuk on the shoulder lightly, "He'll come around sooner or later."
"And if he doesn't?"
"...I don't know." Donghae replied honestly.
"Great." Eunhyuk sighed, burying his face in Donghae's shirt, "Just great."
"You're going to have to go back to your dorm eventually, Kyuhyun." Sungmin said as he looked down at the younger boy, sighing loudly.
"No I won't." Kyuhyun responded from his seat on Sungmin's bed, shaking his head.
"Yes you will." Sungmin stated, sighing once more, "Having you here is cramping my style."
"...Thanks, Sungmin." Kyuhyun said as he looked up at Sungmin, "You're a great friend."
"If I find somewhere else for you to stay for at least a few more days, will you promise me that you'll someday go back to your dorm?"
"No." Kyuhyun said, shaking his head again.
"Please?" Sungmin asked, dragging out the word to make his point clear.
"...Fine." Kyuhyun sighed, flopping back on Sungmin's bed.
"No, don't lie down." Sungmin said with a chuckle, reaching out for Kyuhyun's hands to pull the him into a standing position. "You can't leave if you're not standing, silly Kyuhyun."
Kyuhyun frowned at Sungmin once he was on his feet again, "Where am I going to stay?"
"With my friend Mi, of course!" Sungmin replied, grinning from ear to ear.
"Male or female?" Kyuhyun questioned, raising an eyebrow.
"Male." Sungmin replied, "Duh. Like I'd leave you alone with a girl. I heard what you did to Sunyoung."
"I didn't do it on purpose." Kyuhyun replied as he was unceremoniously pushed out of Sungmin's room, the older male handing him his bag and a slip of paper.
"Mi's dorm number is on that paper, don't lose it." Sungmin said with a grin before slamming his door in Kyuhyun's face.
Kyuhyun kicked Sungmin's door and then flipped it off, sighing before looking down at the paper. "204, huh?" He straightened his back up and then headed for the stairs, walking up them at a slow pace.
"Hi!" Zhou Mi said with a smile as he opened the door, ushering Kyuhyun into the room. "I'm Mi. And you are?"
"...Kyuhyun." Kyuhyun replied as he walked into the room, a bit overwhelmed by the taller male's smile and general demeanour.
"Nice to meet you, Kuixian." Zhou Mi said, smiling even wider now.
"My name is Kyuhyun." Kyuhyun said with a raised eyebrow, staring at Zhou Mi.
"That's what I said."
"No it's not, you said Kuixian." Kyuhyun responded, "That's not my name."
"Ah!" Zhou Mi laughed, his grin growing even wider, "I guess Shengmin didn't explain to you that I'm Chinese."
"There you go messing up names again," Kyuhyun said, sighing loudly. "It's Sungmin."
"He doesn't mind when I call him Shengmin, he knows I can't say his name properly."
"Hnm." Kyuhyun said with a frown, "Well I mind it when you say mine wrong. Try again. Kyu-hyun." He sounded his name out, hoping Zhou Mi would catch on.
"Kui--Kuihyun?" Zhou Mi tried, sighing as he looked over at Kyuhyun. "I think I need to call you Kuixian. Your name is too hard to say."
"...Do whatever you want." Kyuhyun replied, sighing loudly before glancing around Zhou Mi's room with wide eyes. There sure were a lot of posters of some singer, a Geng★ or something. How did you even pronounce that? "Who's this guy?" He asked, pointing to the closest poster.
Zhou Mi gasped, staring at Kyuhyun with a shocked expression on his face. "You don't know who he is?"
"...Should I?" Kyuhyun blinked, staring back at Zhou Mi.
"He's only the most popular idol singer in China right now!" Zhou Mi grinned at Kyuhyun, taking his hand before dragging him across the room to show him his favourite poster of Geng★. "And my boyfriend." His eyes took on a glossy sort of look when he said the word boyfriend, grinning from ear to ear.
"Is he actually your boyfriend or is this some fantasy you've made up in your head?" Kyuhyun asked, staring at Zhou Mi.
"He's actually my boyfriend," Zhou Mi said with a laugh as he pulled out his cellphone, shoving it at Kyuhyun's face.
Kyuhyun looked at the cellphone and wrinkled his nose at the overly affectionate picture that was on the screen. "...Oh."
"Aren't we such a good looking couple?" Zhou Mi said with a grin, putting his phone back in his pocket.
"Yeah, you are." Kyuhyun replied, nodding before looking around the room again. "But why are you here in Korea?"
"His company didn't like that we were together, so they shipped me off to Korea with a full scholarship if I said I'd stop seeing him." Zhou Mi said like it was nothing, shrugging his shoulders.
"...Seriously?" Kyuhyun asked, his eyes wide.
"Yep," Zhou Mi said with a nod before pointing to the other side of the room. "You can use that bed, Kuixian."
"Thanks." Kyuhyun replied and dropped his bag down next to it. "This is only temporary, I promise."
"You can stay as long as you want, I don't mind." Zhou Mi replied with a grin, "Hey, do you want to hear his music?"
"...Sure." Kyuhyun replied, lying back on the bed.
Zhou Mi smiled at him and then plugged his mp3 player into his speakers, flicking through the songs until he found one by Geng★. "This is my favourite one, I like how he says 'international'."
Kyuhyun laughed at Zhou Mi's terrible pronunciation of the English word, stretching out on the bed slightly as a song with a solid base beat blared through the room. Maybe this temporary residence wouldn't be so bad after all.
